No kidding! Goat eats pizza at New York restaurant - It sounds like the beginning of a bad joke; a man, a woman and a goat walk into a restaurant and order some pizza.

But, surprisingly, this was actually what occurred at a popular pizzeria in Manhattan last night.

Diners barely reacted as the goat nonchalantly joined a table at Famous La Famiglia in Midtown and tucked into a slice or two.

One customer captured the bizarre scene and posted it on Twitter casually saying: 'saw a goat eating pizza at La Famiglia on 50th & B'way'.

Judging by the photograph, you would think it was a regular occurrence in Midtown for farm animals to join you for dinner.

Other then the post, the goat which had two feet on the table appears to have received very little, if any attention, from other diners.

Several people with their backs to the animal do not even appear to acknowledge its presence.

And this was all inside an establishment which only just last year served the likes of Sarah Palin and Donald Trump during a lunch date.

Gothamist contact the restaurant and reported that the man who answered was genuinely shocked to hear there was a goat in the premises.

'A goat? In this restaurant? Eating pizza? No!' he told the Gothamist. ( dailymail.co.uk )
