Just act natural! Woman caught behind on-camera reporter awkwardly freezes in panic before making ditch to the floor

Just act natural! Woman caught behind on-camera reporter awkwardly freezes in panic before making ditch to the floor - Perhaps it would have been best if she had known to act natural but then there wouldn't be such an awkwardly funny video.

Responding like a deer in headlights after catching herself mistakenly on air, a woman at a University of Florida TV station froze for nearly 10 seconds behind a live reporter while in an immobilizing panic of what to do.

Awkwardly staring straight back at the camera, the girl in a blue and orange sweatshirt begins to slowly raise and lower herself on her toes to adjust her height.

Smooth start: The reporter's live hit from the newsroom initially started off well until the woman in the background looked up to realize she too was on camera

Frozen: Once catching herself on air, the woman freezes behind the reporter, standing for nearly 10 seconds in one visible place

It being no aid in her concealment, she next bites her lip and ponders fiercely to the ceiling before deciding what she needs to do.

Neither calmly walking off air or acting natural in her work by the printer, she vanishes in a quick pop to the floor, if only momentarily.

Contemplation: After a couple seconds' visible contemplation, complete with a bit lip and eyes to the ceiling, the girl makes up her mind to dive to the floor

Exit: The woman remains on the floor for the remaining length of the reporter's broadcast, her head seen in the bottom right corner, before scooting off to camera right

Still not fully escaping the camera's view, the back of her head can be seen poking out from behind the printer.

The on-camera reporter flawlessly continues reading her story with the aid of a rolling teleprompter but with perhaps a more cheerful expression as the woman now cowers on the floor behind her.

Reaction: The video perhaps appropriately titled 'Awkward Kristin,' ends with the reporter's baffle at either having caught the scene herself or maybe hearing some laughter

The woman remains there for about 10 more seconds before scooting out of full range just as the reporter wraps up her package's out cue.

Titled 'Awkward Kristin' on Youtube - in a spot-on appropriation depending on the woman's name - since its upload in late 2010 it's received over a million views. ( dailymail.co.uk )
